Sarbjit S. Virk O.D., Ph.D., F.O.A.A., Orthokeratologist
Dr. Virk graduated from New England College of Optometry, in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1992. He has lived in the greater Seattle area for 18 years. Dr. Virk established Advanced Eyecare Solutions of Woodinville in 1996 and then opened Advanced Eyecare Solutions of Bellevue in 2004. Dr. Virk became a fellow of the Orthokeratology Academy of America April of 2007. Both practices are full scope primary eye care facilities. As an Optometric physician, Dr. Virk treats dry eyes, red eyes, glaucoma, foreign bodies and most disorders of the anterior part of the eye. His special interests are in pediatric care and specialty contact lenses, like orthokeratology. This procedure, in particular, reshapes the cornea while the person is sleeping and it is a safe alternative to the LASIK surgery for moderate corrections. Our patients like Dr. Virk's thoughness and very caring attitude.
Allison, Optician
Allison has been working alongside Dr. Virk For over 8 years at both the Woodinville and Bellevue locations. Allison is originally from South Dakota and just recently got married. She moved to Washington in early childhood and has over 12 years of optical experience. Allison has a great sense of humor and is always willing to go the extra mile to help our patients. Allison assists in the managing of both offices; making lenses and is in charge of the claims and billing in both locations.
Valerie, ABOC Optician
Valerie is the newest member of our team. She is very knowledgeable and confident in her work. She is upbeat and always ready to help her team and our patients. Valerie has over 6 years of optical experience. She is from a small farming community in Michigan, and enjoys working with patients and optical work because it is an ever changing field and she always gets to learn new things. Valerie is certified through the National Board of Opticianry.
Roschelle, Apprentice Optician
Roschelle is a Psychology major at Bellevue College. Roschelle has worked with us for about a year. She is originally from Washington and is the loving parent to her dog AnnaBella. She does everything from pretesting to helping patients pick out frames. She excels at all aspects of customer service and has an easy going attitude. Roschelle is always there to help patients with problems or just picking out frames.
Sukhneet, Apprentice Optician
Sukhneet is a graduate of University of Washington with a degree in pre Law. Sukhneet has been working in and out of the offices for over 14 yrs. He helps with insurances and checking prescriptions as well as pretesting patients. He is light hearted and always eager to help.
Ipreet, Pre-optometry Apprentice Optician/Receptionist
Ipreet is a Psychology major at the University of Washington and is very interested in the family business. She is very enthusiastic and always happy to help.
Paramjit, Office Manager
Paramjit is our office business manager she has been with our team since 1995. She works very hard figuring out all of the billing of claim status. She is definitely the super glue to our office family and the back bone to the business. She assists wherever needed throughout the entire business. Paramjit is a loving wife and mother of two children. Paramjit is a registered nurse at Harbor View Medical Center and has an extremely caring attitude towards our patients and our team.
